God painted a masterpiece tonight!
Also, Clue to our first song ;)
Just as the rain falls and washes over the world, God’s love covers us and washes us white as snow.
He will destroy death forever. The Lord God will wipe away the tears from every face.
On that day it will be said, “Look, this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He has saved us. This is the Lord; we have waited for Him. Let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.”
-Isaiah 25:8-9
What a great promise?! Sure we’ll face trials in life, God never promised us an easy life, but He guaranteed us a good one. After the trials and tests, there will be a day with no more tears, no more pain, and no more fear. I can’t wait :)
So, as some of you know, recently things have been slightly more interesting around these parts than I like, but God has definitely been teaching me and pulling me closer to His heart because of it. I read an excerpt from Max Lucado’s fearless, and this is more or less my gut reaction to it, so bear with me ;)
Lord, because of these promises people live, and in all of them is the life of my spirit as well; You have restored me to health and let me live.
Indeed, it was for my own welfare that I had such great bitterness; but Your love has delivered me from the Pit of destruction, for You have thrown all my sins behind Your back.
Ahh, it feels good to be writing again. It’s always funny how, even in the midst of trials, God will randomly throw us clarity and perception. When I say everything happens for a reason, it really does. I’m sure if you look back in your past at something you considered a trial, now you can clearly see how God used that circumstance to bring about something even greater in the future. He uses trials to mold us into the masterpieces that He created. I love it. It actually makes me overjoyed.
Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by your name; you are Mine.
- Isaiah 43:1
